Thanks for stopping by. I'm a German who lives in the Netherlands and writes fiction (and the occasional non-fiction or hybrid) in English. I'm also fluent in Dutch. My stories have appeared in AGNI, Guernica, Glimmer Train, Third Coast, The Bellevue Literary Review, Web Conjunctions, and in the Masters Review Anthology Vol. 9, selected by Rick Bass, among others. I have won the Glimmer Train Fiction Open, the Montana Prize (judged by Alexandra Kleeman), and the Danahy Fiction Prize.

Current topics of interest: Obsessive relationships, mind-melding collaborations, deals with the  devil, and always the pan-European expat land of my soul.​
